Cities Skylines Subscription

Cities Skylines is generally characterized by high prices when you want to expand your game with all DLCs. The way out may be subscription, which is created for players to make playing (and paying) easier. However, with Cities Skylines, it is not that simple.

What about the Cities Skylines subscription?

In case of Cities Skylines, subscription is not available (such as in the case of HOI4). But don’t despair! Some other possibilities can be wait for discounts such as Summer Sales or Black Friday.

How much does all the Cities: Skylines DLC cost?

Cities Skylines in its most basic form costs around $29.99 while Cities Skylines – The Classics Bundle (a set of products) costs around $100.94, usually with the 20% discount.

If you want to have all the DLCs, you have to pay around $415.41. It is usually with a 9% discount. As you can see, the prices are uncompromising.

However, if you are planning to purchase some  f the older DLCs, there is a good chance you can get them at better prices. The main reason is that older DLCs get cheaper over time.

Base game vs DLC purchase

The main difference between the base game and the DLCs is the game’s features. These features are brought to the game by the previously mentioned DLCs and can enrich your gaming experience and provide your hours of entertainment. That’s why the DLCs are so requested.

Over some time, it makes sense to buy them. However, if you are a new player and the base game suits you, it will work. If you are a long-term player who likes to build a lot of different things, you simply need the DLCs.

Is it worth it?

To be honest, I think that the subscription would be definitely worth it and I don’t say that just from the habit. From my experience, every single DLC has to offer something different and so subscribing to them all at the same time would bring the best gaming experience you can imagine.

It would make so much sense, however, there is no such thing as Cities Skylines subscription. But what we can look forward to is Cities Skylines 2 so save money for the sequel.
